A big warm hello and welcome to you, allow me to introduce myself.

My name is Cheryl and I'm the active dreamer & Solopreneur behind CherJoy Designs. 

 

In my early 20’s, during my first job as an Events Manager, I fell in love with planning,

organising and floor layouts & logistics. After approximately 3 years of excising my creative &

meticulous muscles by eating, sleeping and breathing event planning, that season came to an end. 

 

After changing jobs a couple of times and not feeling nearly as fulfilled as I did while in my planning and organising element I was determined to find my purpose. I started reading a book with the quote ‘your gift is the thing you do the best with the least amount of effort’ 

 

Once I listed everything I enjoyed and was gifted at I looked at it and said ok what does this equate too lol? A couple Google searches later & boom CherJoy Designs was birthed!

 

It definitely was not overnight.. After the Google search I decided to take a Beginner Interior Design course to see if this was really 'it'… The first day of class was of the happiest days of my life… I couldn’t stop smiling. The next year I took the Advanced Technical Design, attained my Certificate and also received a Certificate Outstanding Accomplishment from the Academy of Designing, Professional Interior Designs Limited.   

 

Seeing clients’ faces light up when the vision for their spaces come to life in 3D designs, or, the load of stress lifted and the relief it gives them in their everyday life after a decluttering project… I honestly couldn't imagine doing anything else.
